Bostick and Sullivan recommends you use a sheet of paper and frame that is one size larger than your final prints to leave margins.
4x5", 5x7" and 6x9" negatives should use 8x10" paper and a 8x10" print frame.
8x10" negatives should be be printed on 11x14" paper, while 11x14" negatives should be printed on 16x20" paper.
