Kallitype Printing Workshop Sept 28 – 30

$300.00$1,275.00

September 28 – 30

The Kallitype process is a silver-based hand-coated print that can be archivally toned in gold, platinum or palladium. Known as “The Poor Man’s Platinum Print”, a well-made Kallitype print mimics the look and feel of the Platinum print, while keeping the artist on a budget. Kallitype’s versatility offers control over contrast and color by using different developers and noble metal toning baths. Come to beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico, and explore this exciting printing method, in this new for 2023 workshop.

$1275. All materials included.

You can either pay in full for the class or pay a $300 deposit. The remaining balance will be due at the beginning of the class. To pay the deposit make sure to select Pay deposit at the bottom of this page.

All classes are from Thursday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. All supplies and chemistry are included in the cost of the class. Lunch is not provided, though we often eat together either in our reception area or at a restaurant nearby (covid and weather permitting).
