Sign up for Bostick & Sullivan’s world-renowned Platinum & Palladium printing workshop July 18th, 19th and 20th in historic Santa Fe, New Mexico!
Participants create calibrated inkjet negatives from their high resolution files using Adobe Photoshop and Epson printers, and use them to print stunning archival Platinum & Palladium prints. Instructor Dana Sullivan will guide students through the process of importing digital images into Photoshop, to then edit and apply standardized adjustments, creating the ideal negative for Platinum & Palladium printing.
Students will then learn to print these negatives in the hand-coated Platinum & Palladium process on a variety of watercolor papers. Students may also bring their own large format in-camera negatives to print! Students should bring 15 to 20 high resolution images or a mix of digital and analog images.
All Bostick & Sullivan workshops are held thursday through saturday. Class fee includes all chemistry, paper, inkjet film and finishing materials. Also included in the class fee are daily lunches from some of our favorite Santa Fe restaurants, plus coffee, cold drinks and a variety of snacks and sweets!
