Sign up now for a incredibly popular Wet Plate Collodion Tintype workshop July 4, 5 and 6 2024, in Santa Fe, New Mexico! Class features Native American model Juana Olivas and actor/rodeo champion Adam Joaquin-Gonzales who will model for students on July 4th and July 5th.

Learn how to be a master of the light, and not a slave to it! Co-instructors Dana Sullivan and Rob Gibson share their combined 45 years of Wet Plate experience with participants in this exciting class 3 day class. Students will learn how to confidently shoot outdoors in natural light conditions from harsh to subdued, using simple shading and light filling techniques. Students can move indoors to explore studio lighting with strobes and continuous setups to shoot portraits and still life images. Participants can bring their own cameras or select from the cameras and tripods in our studio inventory.

With a maximum of 6 students per class, our student to instructor ratio makes sure each student gets plenty of intimate one-on-one instruction and assistance. The workshop focuses on still life and portraiture work, with two days of shooting with our native models Juana Olivas and Adam Joaquin Gonzales. Students may also bring a friend or family member for a half day to shoot their portrait during the class.

Inclusive fee covers all workshop materials, loaner gear, model fees, and delicious daily lunches delivered from our favorite local Santa Fe restaurants!
